Merriam's Turkey Hunt Information
 Grant's Guide Service hunts Merriam's Turkeys during the Spring Season across Northern Arizona. This is a fun hunt for all ages that you don't want to miss. The AZ Spring Turkey Draw takes place in October each year for the upcoming Spring. General Season Turkey Tags are available in a Lottery Draw with most hunters drawing their 1st or 2nd attempt applying in the AZ Turkey Draw. Over The Counter Archery Only Turkey Tags are also available as well as OTC Youth Turkey Tags for Youth Hunters 10-17. A Hunter Education Certificate is required for youth hunters under 14 to purchase a youth OTC Turkey Tag.

For Turkey Scouting Packages, we provide the preseason scouting in your hunt area on scheduled dates as close to the start of your hunt as possible, so you have a good plan on where and how to start your Turkey hunt. We welcome hunters to join us in the field during our scouting if you would like to learn more with hands on experience from a licensed professional turkey hunting guide about how to locate and hunt gobbling turkeys in the Spring time. This is also a great option for avid turkey hunters that may be a non resident or just don't have any time to scout yourself. Our Turkey Scouting will give you the jump start on where pockets of turkeys are located in your public land hunt unit and our best recommendations on how to navigate around the hunting pressure to give you the best chance for success.
